The Evening Parade: Preserving the Tradition
Reservations and Schedules

The Evening Parade display is an amazing amount of control and precision throughout its entire 75 minutes which features performances by the United States Marine Band known as the "President's Own," the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, known as the "Commandant's Own," and the Unites States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon. There are several parades held each Friday evening between the beginning of May and the End of August. The ceremony begins at 8:45pm and continues until 10:00pm with a presentation from the Marine Band.

Although all parades are free, you will need to make a reservation in order to have a seat for the Evening Parade. Once you have a reservation, you will be admitted to the parade grounds at 7pm on the date of your reservation. Around 8:10pm, any guests waiting outside who do not have a reservation will be allowed to claim seats. So please do not arrive later than 8pm because seating may not be available at that time regardless of reservation.

Unfortuneately, there is no public parking permitted at the barracks. You may park at Maritime Plaza, where a free shuttle service is provided to and from the Marine Barracks. The first shuttle leaves Maritime Plaza at 7 pm, and the last shuttle departs the Barracks at 11 pm after the parade.

Making a Reservation

Once you have requested a reservation, you will be contacted with a response based on availability, ticket information, etc. Remember that you will not need to purchase a ticket, but you will need to make a reservation to reserve your seat.
